Accredited to QP1, QP2, and QP3
Paso Robles Tank holds AMPP (formerly SSPC) contractor accreditations for QP1, QP2, and QP3, the independent, audited standards for industrial coating work. QP1 verifies our quality management for coatings applied in the field, QP2 certifies that we can safely remove hazardous coatings including lead-based systems on the job site, and QP3 covers our shop-applied coating operations. Together they mean the crew coating your tank is verified for quality, safety, and process control, with protective systems built to last.
Our coating and lining work is also verified by AMPP certified coating inspectors. AMPP was formed when NACE International and SSPC merged, and its inspector program, the credential many still call a NACE inspector, confirms that surface preparation, coating thickness, and cure meet the project specification. Those checks are documented, so the protection on your tank is recorded and confirmed rather than assumed.
Industrial Coatings Experience
The right coating system decides how long a tank lasts. Paso Robles Tank applies its coatings and linings in-house, matched to the stored product, the service conditions, and the standard the tank is built to. That control shows in the work. Our Presqu’ile Winery Tank Expansion in Santa Maria earned the STI/SPFA 2023 Tank of the Year Product Award for a Shop Fabricated Atmospheric Tank, recognition of both the fabrication and the finish.
Handling coatings alongside engineering, fabrication, and field erection under one roof keeps the specification consistent from the shop floor to the finished tank, and it protects the investment you are putting in the ground.
